As a senior systems engineer, he offers a wealth of experience guiding global delivery of high-profile, multi-year projects. He offers a demonstrated ability to provide direction to teams during project conceptualization, design, estimation, execution, and control activities. His expertise ensures contractors execute per contracts and specifications. He is fully versed in forecasting, resource estimation, contract development, bid management and contract execution. He has substantial technical, project management and company management experience related to the integration of large computer control and information systems; communications networks and distributed information systems. His experience spans military, industrial, and transportation sectors. Mr. Barnum introduced shared communications network use to airports in 1990 and has been active in the development of integrated and network-based systems in airports and transportation since then.
Gary Wood has 30+ years of experience in the installation and service of security, inter-communication and telephone systems. As a project manager, his experience includes the oversight and management of systems applications, integration, and design for assigned projects involving card access, CCTV, intercom, parking and building control systems, and paging.
At Ontario International Airport (ONT) Mr. Wood designed, engineered, directed equipment procurement and managed the installation of a new card access control system and CCTV system. This system also includes one ID credential system for producing ID photo badges with six administrative/monitoring workstations located throughout the airport, connected via a fiber optic redundant LAN system. Mr. Wood’s other responsibilities include the installation of assigned packages encompassing submittals, construction meetings, field supervision and project acceptance. He also supervises and manages long-term on-site maintenance contracts.
Charles (Chuck) McCloskey is a large program leader with over 30+ years of experience at airports. He built on his aviation roots as a pilot by later managing such major projects as JFK, Detroit Metro, and Raleigh-Durham airports. His experience managing an activation team, managing stakeholder engagement, along with providing project controls, quality assurance, commissioning, and training—is highly desired in today’s capital improvement world. Additionally, he was instrumental in developing our Green Build Lessons Learned for the San Diego Airport Authority. His strong knowledge base and standing within the aviation industry set him apart from other leaders in his field; no one drives terminal development with quite the same record of accomplishment.
