President

Moninder Birdi is a results-driven senior consultant with a proven track record of 25+ years in technology related project/program management. Intimately familiar with airport policies, procedures and standards related to Information Technology, Airport Security, Public Safety, and Airport Operations. Has a strong experience base in developing systems and infrastructure which is well complemented with a multi-disciplinary background including systems engineering, design management, construction management and project controls. Experienced and highly successful in developing project delivery methods and providing strategic direction to large programs including project packaging and phasing.

Ben Ho

Chief Operating Officer

Ben Ho has 30 years of experience managing and growing Fortune 500, technology and architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) companies. His in-depth expertise in business management, enterprise transformation, strategic planning, sales & marketing, technology & innovation, organizational design, operations improvement, program management & delivery will be invaluable to contributing to Birdi Systems’ continued success. Prior to joining Birdi Systems, Ben led strategic consulting services and digital solutions for Luster National, Inc. A significant client-program lead role there was serving as the Chief Administrative/Strategy Officer on California High-Speed Rail, one of the largest transportation programs in North America.

Thomas McCloskey

Chief Business Development Officer

Thomas (Tom) McCloskey has 30 years of innovation in technology contracting, systems integration, design build, manufacturing, consulting, sales and marketing in the transportation, nuclear power, utility, critical infrastructure, commercial, industrial verticals including government and force protection environments. Recruited to manage and transform the largest municipal utility in the US into a customer driven enterprise in preparation of the Deregulation of the California Energy Industry, Tom focused on the development of internal transformation, marketing strategies, customer relations, industry partnerships and new product development and delivery channels. Established sales in Europe as a manufacturer of building automation and security systems in the utility and airport segments. As director of national accounts for an international security systems provider, Tom managed a team of marketing and sales professionals in providing industry leading customer solutions and service to public, private and government clients in major systems deployment.

Garry Wood

Vice President of Pre-Construction Services

Gary Wood has 30+ years of experience in the installation and service of security, inter-communication and telephone systems. As a project manager, his experience includes the oversight and management of systems applications, integration, and design for assigned projects involving card access, CCTV, intercom, parking and building control systems, and paging.

At Ontario International Airport (ONT) Mr. Wood designed, engineered, directed equipment procurement and managed the installation of a new card access control system and CCTV system. This system also includes one ID credential system for producing ID photo badges with six administrative/monitoring workstations located throughout the airport, connected via a fiber optic redundant LAN system. Mr. Wood’s other responsibilities include the installation of assigned packages encompassing submittals, construction meetings, field supervision and project acceptance. He also supervises and manages long-term on-site maintenance contracts.

Steve Krier

Vice President of Maintenance and Repair Services

Steve Krier has over 30 years of diverse engineering and management experience in all aspects of Service Delivery. He has proven expertise and experience managing security system services and transit system operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation. For 19 years, he maintained the Automated People Mover (APM)system at the Denver International Airport in successive roles of increasing responsibility. Steve’s experience and knowledge includes HSE management, customer interface and relations, manpower resource management, staff supervision and training, financial management, and commercial awareness. He was an active member of the inaugural State of Colorado Advisory Board (Conveyance Program) as well as a key member of the subcommittee for APM Systems during the development of conveyance.
